I will never go to the supermarket next door.  (part- 1)


This is going to be a long story.

So I will divide into three parts.

There is a big supermarket called Dagostino right next to my apartment.
It's a fancy and famous supermarket.
Al Pacino comes often to this supermarket for his grocery shopping.
This store is open from early morning till at eleven in the evening.
It's convenient.

But I haven't been to this store for two and a half years.
I go all the way to the supermarket which is a little far.
That is because I think no employee at the store likes me.

Let me tell you what happened.
One day, I was in line at a cash register after shopping as usual.
An employee charged me a package of toilet paper

which was bought by a customer before me.
In short, I was made to pay for a purchase of another customer.

I complained.
I didn't buy toilet paper.
I showed a receipt and the contents of a bag to a female employee.
But she didn't understand.

The employees are all hispanic.
The battle became two to one after all.
But I didn't give up.

The battle became two to one after all.（戦いは、２対１になったみたいなニュアンスがあります。）
give up＝あきらめる、引き下がる　　 continue＝間断なく
